This shows only a few of the elk we saw, and frequently see, on the way to the 480. We can usually depend on 100-200 head at any time of the year in this area. Yep, it was an exciting day for elk spotting! We saw a lot of little herds but not necessarily the huge herds we usually see.
Yep, never get tired of seeing them.
I miss ponderosa pines! and I can't remember the last time I saw farm animals, let alone wildlife.... What a fun excursion.
